Poeticwalls’ purpose is to realise and communicate Baukultur. Buildings of good architecture provide an added value that benefits our clients, partners and investors, and therefore society as a whole. Good architecture is more necessary than ever. As building density increases, architects and planners bear greater responsibility in the transformation process towards a better quality of life and sustainability. Investors and construction and real-estate companies, as well as municipal, cantonal and federal officials must assume responsibility, too. New needs and realities require new solutions.

Poeticwalls launched in late November 2023. Founded by Michelle Nicol and Rudolf Schürmann, the company is emerging as a catalyst for exceptional architecture with innovative development projects and a growing brokerage portfolio. Voluntary market restriction: only architecture that makes a place and its inhabitants better. Poeticwalls is not alone in recognizing that the proportion of good architecture in our built environment is small: much of it is characterized by banality and dullness, designed without our needs in mind.
